The aim of Next Steps is to showcase what is available in greater Christchurch and to assist young people with disabilities and their families look at opportunities beyond school ... to connect young people and their families to local clubs, groups, networks, volunteering opportunities, sports, gardens, games and choirs ...  any possibilities and opportunities happening in their neighbourhoods that they are keen to be involved with, as well as ensuring full citizenship; making use of the services and supports that all New Zealanders have available to them.

The 2020 Next Steps Expo is on Friday 9 October at Haeata Community Campus, in Aranui, and there is no cost to participate or to attend (but do bring cash to support some young entrepreneurs who will be showcasing their businesses!!).
