We warmly invite disabled people and whanau to attend our third EGL hui, facilitated by SAMS and Tama. Please feel free to share this with those in your community. 

What: a hui focused on continuing to build community leadership with an emphasis on preparing to develop EGL core groups

Why: this is designed to build on momentum and engagement shown by your community in previously facilitated hui

Where: Napier Sailing Club

When: 17 July 10:00am to 2:00pm (light lunch will be provided).

Access needs: Please confirm all access needs asap. NOTE: Sign language interpreters will be at the hui.

Providers, please note: our priority is to ensure that disabled people, families, and whānau, as well as other community groups, understand the EGL approach and have say in community leadership. Providers could help their community by telling disabled people, families, and whānau, as well as other community groups about our hui. 

Smaller focused hui: the facilitation team are also available to meet for smaller online hui on the evening of 15 and 16 July. Please send an email to egl@sams.org.nz, if this is of interest.
