Kia ora koutou

We have had to change the date of the fourth EGL hui, as outlined below and on the attached flyer. This will now be hosted on 27 August (changed from 28 August). All other details remain the same. We hope those who have registered are still able to attend, but if not, please let us know as soon possible. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We warmly invite disabled people and whanau to attend our fourth EGL hui, facilitated by SAMS and Tama. Please feel free to share this with those in your community.

What: the 4th hui aimed at building on previous hui with a focus on continuing to build EGL community leadership and on understanding the structure of EGL core groups.

You can read more about this process here: https://www.enablinggoodlives.co.nz/negl/national-leadership-group-position-statements/regional-leadership-groups/

Where: Titirangi RSA, 502 South Titirangi Road

When: 27 August 2024, 10:00am to 2:00pm (light lunch will be provided).

Access needs: Please confirm all access needs asap. NOTE: Sign language interpreters will be at the hui.

Providers, please note: our priority is to ensure that disabled people, families, and whānau, as well as other community groups, understand the EGL approach and have say in community leadership. Providers could help their community by telling disabled people, families, and whānau, as well as other community groups about our hui.

Please email egl@sams.org.nz to register your attendance.

With kindness,

the SAMS team
