Scott Ambridge
Scott Ambridge has been with Enable New Zealand for almost nine years and supports disabled people to live an everyday life in their community.
Scott originally joined Enable New Zealand as Operations Manager, having fulfilled similar roles in the private sector.
In October 2013, he was appointed General Manager and set the organisation on a course that encapsulates the principal purpose of supporting disabled people to live an everyday life in their own community.
Enable New Zealand has over 40 years’ experience in providing services to the health, rehabilitation and disability sector, and Scott is proud to lead the team of some 115 staff.
He is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at MidCentral District Health Board and sits on the Executive of the Federation of Disability Information Centres.
Scott is married to Sandra and together they have two children – George (14 years) and Jane (9 years).
