Selwyn firmly believes in the potential of each individual and that every effort needs to be made available for them to realise that potential.
Selwyn would like to use his advocacy and leadership skills to ensure that the voice of the disability community is heard, and their needs and wants are met by building strong relationships with whānau, community and support services.
Selwyn has a background in Education and Counselling, and also served in the NZ Army.
He is married with five children, two of whom are disabled.
